Et Elon répond: "There's nowhere to go. There's nowhere to go."

Citadel Securities just put institutional weight behind what the AI bulls won't say out loud. In a new macro note titled "Tokenomics," Citadel makes the argument plainly: even the most powerful technology on earth still has to pass through the boring discipline of cost curves, capacity limits, and marginal returns. The evidence is piling up: – Amazon removed its token usage leaderboard – Microsoft cancelled Claude Code subscriptions – Multiple companies reporting unexpectedly massive token bills Their conclusion is the part that matters. Adoption is no longer about what AI can do in principle. It's becoming about the price and scarcity of the inputs needed to run it at scale. Compute. Power. Cooling. Memory bandwidth. Inference budgets. All real, all binding constraints. And here's the kicker from the chart. The Silicon Data LLM Token Expenditure Index, a benchmark for how much the market is actually spending on AI tokens, has started rolling over. Citadel reads it as a shift toward cheaper models. Companies substituting away from expensive frontier AI toward "good enough" alternatives. That's economics 101 doing what it always does. When the price of something rises, people use less of it, or find a cheaper version. Citadel sees a bifurcation forming. Frontier AI concentrated among a few firms with the balance sheets to absorb the cost. Everyone else quietly downgrading to simpler, cheaper models. This is the part of every technology revolution the early narrative ignores. The technology being real was never the question. The question was always whether the economics could carry the valuations. When one of the most sophisticated trading firms on earth starts writing about AI in the language of cost curves and rationing instead of limitless demand, the conversation has quietly changed. The hype was about what AI could do. The reckoning is about what it costs.

NEW: Border Collie in China with 1.5 million followers stolen, sold for $27 to a restaurant, and then eaten. The dog's owner, a Chinese travel blogger named 'Guo,' documents his travels with his dog. While he was away on an overseas trip, the dog disappeared while in the care of Guo's dad. Surveillance footage showed two people stealing the animal. Guo was able to track down the thief and offered $1500 for the return of his dog, but was told the dog had been sold for $27 and eaten. The thief says he thought the dog was a stray. "The dog is dead, so stop making a fuss. I did not break the law," the man allegedly said.

Mamdani is lying to you. He didn't turn a $12B budget deficit to $0. Spark notes: He inflated the deficit by $8B compared to Adams, brought it back down, then closed the rest with one-off bailout funds from Kathy Hochul who's desperate for a win. Funny thing is most of you morons believe it. The entire Democratic party is cheering a lie while "cooking" the books. New York City has been LEGALLY REQUIRED to balance its budget every single year since 1975. State law. The Financial Emergency Act. Passed after the city almost went bankrupt and Gerald Ford told them to drop dead. Mamdani's own budget message brags this is the 47th consecutive balanced budget. Bloomberg balanced. de Blasio balanced. Adams balanced. Giuliani balanced. Crediting Mamdani for balancing the budget is like crediting a taxi driver for stopping at a red light. Now the $12 billion. Adams left office with a projected FY27 gap of $4.69 billion. So where did the extra eight billion come from? Mamdani's own team. They walked in and moved hidden spending back onto the books: rental assistance, shelter ops, special ed reimbursements, NYPD overtime. Legit cleanup work. Then they ran to a podium and called it a deficit they inherited. They printed the number. Then they took credit for printing the number. How did they "close" it? Half came from Albany. Hochul wrote a check: $8 billion in state aid over two years. THIS IS NOT SUSTAINABLE. HE DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING. Mamdani's signature millionaire's tax? KILLED by Hochul. Corporate rate hike? KILLED. Free buses he ran on? KILLED. CityFHEPS expansion he campaigned on? He's in court right now fighting it. Then there's the pension trick. $1.64 billion of the "savings" comes from extending pension amortization from 2032 to 2037. The Citizens Budget Commission called it "a pension gimmick" that "balances this budget on the backs of future New Yorkers." William Glasgall, Volcker Alliance, said it "creates a debt that's more expensive than muni bonds." And the kicker. The budget IS NOT ADOPTED. Council votes June 30. The state budget the whole thing depends on was still not enacted as of last week. Out-year gaps under Mamdani's own numbers: FY2028: $7.1 billion FY2029: $8.5 billion FY2030: $9.8 billion The hole grew $5.4 billion in three months. So the real headline. Hochul cut a check. Future workers eat the pension bill. The structural deficit is BIGGER than the day he walked in. They didn't fix anything. They moved it. The math: $4.69B real gap. $8B from Hochul. $1.64B pension can-kick. $25.9B in future gaps. He didn't balance the books. But he's gambling your future and kicking the can down the road. So maybe stop celebrating. But what do I know. Good luck.

Yesterday (April 29, 2026), Pawel Kalinski delivered a lecture at the Immuno-Oncology Virtual Event Series titled “Reprogramming Tumor Microenvironments to Expand I-O Effectiveness to ‘Cold’ Tumors.” He is Vice Chair of Translational Research Development in Women’s Health at Magee-Women’s Research Institute, University of Pittsburgh. The lecture pulled together the molecular architecture of a platform $NWBO controls through exclusive license, and presented clinical data that should reframe how the entire breast cancer immunotherapy field is understood. The trials referenced. NCT03403634 was a Phase Ib of systemic intravenous CKM in metastatic triple-negative breast cancer. Published as Gandhi et al., JITC 2023; 11: e007381. The trial demonstrated an average 10.3-fold increase in intratumoral cytotoxic T cell markers across treated patients. One patient with extensive metastatic disease — a massive chest wall mass and multiple lung nodules — achieved near-complete response, with the post-CKM-alone biopsy showing no cancer cells on histology before pembrolizumab was even administered. Half of the patients are still doing well at four-year follow-up. This is in metastatic TNBC, where median survival is typically measured in months. NCT04081389 was a Phase I of neoadjuvant CKM plus paclitaxel-based chemotherapy in primary triple-negative breast cancer. Published as Gandhi et al., JITC 2024; 12: e010058. The result: 7 of 9 patients (78%) reached RCB-0 or RCB-1 at tumor resection, associated with lack of recurrence, with ZERO immune-related adverse events. RCB-0/1 means tumors essentially erased. These patients generally do not require additional adjuvant therapy and are considered cured. Compare to KEYNOTE-522, the current standard of care, which achieves about 65% pCR but causes serious autoimmune toxicities — thyroid damage, adrenal failure, hepatitis, pneumonitis — that can be permanent. NWBO’s licensed platform reached a higher response rate without the autoimmune cost. Kokolus et al., JITC 2025; 13: e012307 is the mechanism paper showing that CKM and anti-PD-1 must be delivered concurrently. Same-day dosing retains full efficacy. A 24-hour delay loses 20%. A 5-day delay abolishes the effect entirely. This is the temporal physics of the combination, and it tells you exactly how the next-generation NWBO trials must be designed. What NWBO in-licensed. NWBO holds two exclusive licenses to the alpha-DC1 platform that Kalinski’s lectures describe. The 2023 University of Pittsburgh license covers the foundational alpha-DC1 dendritic cell technology developed during Kalinski’s seventeen years at Pittsburgh. This is the maturation chemistry that produces dendritic cells pumping out IL-12 (the “go kill” signal) at supercharged levels and educating T cells that carry both an antigen receptor and stress-sensors (NKG2D, DNAM-1). These T cells recognize cancer even when it hides its identity, and they spare healthy cells. The June 12, 2024 Roswell Park license covers five new patent families filed in 2023 — enhanced DC versions, tumor microenvironment reprogramming methods, and approaches to overcome checkpoint resistance. $2.3M milestones and 4% royalty. $NWBO controls the IP for the dendritic cell component of every regimen Kalinski’s lectures describe. The clinical data is being generated in academic trials at Magee-Women’s and Roswell Park, but the technology being clinically validated is technology NWBO owns. The CKM regimen itself uses rintatolimod (brand name Ampligen), manufactured by AIM ImmunoTech (NYSE American: AIM). $AIM is the sole global manufacturer. AIM also has its own active pipeline — DURIPANC, the Phase 2 of #Ampligen plus durvalumab in metastatic pancreatic cancer, reported positive interim data and signed a Phase 3 planning agreement with Thermo Fisher / PPD in March 2026. Why this is significant. The 7-of-9 RCB-0/1 result with zero immune-related adverse events in primary #TNBC is the kind of signal that, if it holds in a larger Phase 2/3, changes the standard of care for triple-negative breast cancer. KEYNOTE-522 made pembrolizumab chemotherapy the standard despite the autoimmune toxicity burden because the response rate justified the harm. A regimen that matches or exceeds the response rate without the harm is not an incremental improvement. It would replace the existing standard. The mechanism Kalinski explained yesterday is what makes the toxicity profile possible. The platform achieves selective immunity by molecular design. Two layers of selectivity stacked. First, rintatolimod is a TRIF-selective TLR3 agonist — it activates the immune accelerator (the chemokine and interferon arm that brings T cells to the tumor) without activating the inflammation switch (the NF-kB arm that drives systemic toxicity in other adjuvants like poly-ICLC). Second, the platform exploits a fact about cancer biology: tumors have elevated baseline NF-kB activity, healthy tissue does not. CKM amplifies signaling only where the NF-kB substrate is already present. So even given systemically by IV, the regimen activates only where cancer is. Stack the alpha-DC1 NKR-co-engagement on top of that — T cells that recognize cancer cells through both antigen and stress-ligand pathways while sparing healthy cells — and you have a platform that does what every immunotherapy in development has been trying to do: separate the kill signal from the autoimmune signal. The Kokolus 2025 timing data is operationally critical. CKM and checkpoint must be given the same day. For NWBO this is automatic — #DCVax patients are clinic-administered, so same-day CKM DCVax checkpoint lands in one visit. With $MRK subcutaneous #Keytruda #Qlex, FDA-approved September 2025, the checkpoint dose is now a 1-2 minute injection rather than a 30-minute IV chair. The platform’s delivery model is built to accommodate the timing requirement that competitors will have to redesign trials around. What’s coming. The DoD Breast Cancer Research Program awarded $8.3M (October 2024) to Czerniecki at Moffitt with Kalinski as collaborator for alpha-DC1 CKM pembrolizumab in brain-metastatic breast cancer. A $6.42M companion award went to Roswell Park. An additional $22.4M leptomeningeal disease grant followed in October 2025. The regulatory and funding pathway for breast-cancer-anchored alpha-DC1 CKM combinations is open and well-resourced. NCT04093323 at Roswell Park (Puzanov as PI, Kalinski as scientific lead) is the alpha-DC1 CKM trial in checkpoint-resistant melanoma, FDA-approved and enrolling since 2022. The next-generation trial design — supercharged DCVax-Direct on the EDEN bioreactor, integrated with concurrent same-day systemic CKM and concurrent same-day anti-PD-1, with parallel alpha-DC1 vaccination from the same EDEN run — is the registrational design the lecture’s data points toward. The convergence of the platform’s three deployment arms (the manufactured vaccine, the manufactured intratumoral product, and the systemic pharmacological regimen) into one same-day protocol is the architectural move the field has been building toward. The bottom line. The data in NCT04081389 is not preliminary. It is published, peer-reviewed, and shows a primary triple-negative breast cancer regimen that erases tumors in 78% of patients without causing autoimmune disease. NWBO controls the IP for the dendritic cell component. AIM ImmunoTech supplies the TLR3 agonist component. The mechanism is now publicly articulated by the platform’s lead scientist. The next-generation trial design follows from the convergence with mechanical inevitability. This is the kind of foundation that, if executed, supports a real registration path in TNBC and beyond.
