Make Tier 1 the priority. Make Tier 1 the priority. Make Tier 1 the priority. Tiers 2 & 3 are a direct reflection of how effective your Tier 1 is working. Design Tier 1 so that it is all is should be for learners & teachers. It's the only way things change.

Attended an amazing PD on thoughtful approaches to autism Identification in the schools. Highly recommend seeking out Dr. Kawena Begay if she’s ever presenting in your area. A

I've said this many times before, but we can't reasonably expect school psychologists to engage in the full scope of their role when they're often burdened by ineffective practices. If we want to make a bigger difference, we need to advocate to remove low value practices.
It can be hard to describe the full scope and comprehensive role of a school psychologist. This resource can aid you in communicating the importance of all that school psychologists do. #SchoolPsychWeek bit.ly/3DF7UHW

it’s like school psych christmas but you’re the parent who has to clean out the old broken toys and then assemble the new toys and remind everyone they have to share and listen to complaints because they wanted different toys and you couldn’t afford all the toys. #leadsp

“We do not believe that implicit bias played a role…” and yet “we also recognize the need to implement strategies that work to reduce implicit bias within the organization.”Appreciate the apology and action. Still.

I spend a lot of time teaching teens how to exit an uncomfortable social situation without the use of a secret emoji code to a parent. While the code can be useful in certain circumstances, teens need to know how to exit independently. It’s part of the prep process for young adulthood.

Post a picture of some landscape from a place where you've been, where the main requirement is that you do NOT appear in it. Just a picture, no description. Let’s travel virtually around the world.

A Bottle of water can be .50 cents at a supermarket. $2 at the gym. $3 at the movies and $6 on a plane. Same water. Only thing that changed its value was the place..So the next time you feel your worth is nothing, maybe you’re at the wrong place💯
