This #IDFAdvocacyDay, I'm urging members of Congress to protect the #immunocompromised by making #telehealth flexibilities permanent and urging the @US_FDA to implement a platform approval process for newer COVID-19 therapeutics. @idfcommunity

So I’m in two #MarchMadness pools, one that I paid to be in where the prize is a Starbucks gift card and there’s only 25 people, & another that was free where the prize is TWO FREE WEEKS OF CAMP and there are 200 people. Would you like to guess which bracket has tanked already?

At #NORDSummit and I overheard a PATIENT ADVOCATE bemoaning the mandatory masking, asking why organizers were “pushing the #vaccine” if they don’t believe in it. My jaw absolutely hit the floor.
Y'all, this is me! I wrote the article on pg 54 about #primaryimmunodeficiency and #COVID19. Also, thanks to Mike Hagan, who has #CVID, for sharing his story!
Introducing our Autumn 2022 edition #RarePrimaryImmunodeficiency. This edition has been highly rewarding to work on, and a real education about #PrimaryImmunodeficiencies. Thanks to our edition partners, Pharming, who have supported us in this mission bit.ly/RARE-PID

It’s a #primaryimmunodeficiency! Not that I’ve recently been looking through the list of 450 PIs…
having med students on the team is the best because they will randomly say things like “alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency” and make everyone have to remember what that is

Just saw back-2-back commercials: forhers.com and forhims.com. Would you like to guess what each one was selling? Hers = online depression medication prescriptions. Hims = online hair growth medication. What in the f… #WTF
Who knew, the @US_FDA extended the shelf life of a bunch of #OTC at-home COVID tests. Check this list before you throw out 'expired' tests! fda.gov/medical-devices/coro…

Question for #ClinMicro twitter: Are there any clinically available tests specifically for #Omicron antibodies? And yes, I know testing for COVID antibodies is fraught at best :)
