Today between incidents and hydrant shoveling all SFD apparatus went through an undercarriage rinse to remove salt from the Blizzard. This prolongs the life of the apparatus and minimizes damage that could take them out of service

Congratulations to Firefighter Jordan Sargent who graduated from the Massachusetts Fire Academy earlier today. Jordan spent the past 10 weeks learning the basic skills of being a firefighter and now will return to Scituate to continue to learn his trade.
