Why is the PATH not providing fare reduction for people with disabilities? Others (MTA, NJTransit, Metro-North, LIRR) do provide such a program. Please help us understand. @PATHTrain

On April 24th, @NYCDisabilities @MTA Subway #9171 heading Queens around 5:30 PM. All of sudden, the visual notifications disappeared: “Please Listen for Train Crew Announcement” & skipped several stations. My trip foiled-Undue burden #accessbilityfail #effectivecommunicationfail

This morning, I was going to get on @PATHTrain at Hoboken. I read the notification signage that shows 2 minutes left for departure. I had enough time. As it turns to one, suddenly the train doors closes and departed leaving me stranded in the station. WTF? #accessibilityfail

I don’t really like how @PATHTrain made me feel. Treating me as a third-class citizen scrambling for help in learning what’s going on at their outage to decide what to do next. I may be DEAF but I am a PERSON first. @PATHTrain FAILED to instill Effective Communication. #ADAfail

I got stranded in a strange station, @PATHTrain has effectively left me depending on anyone that I could find to get myself out of the disorientation of lack information. Being a person with hearing loss (DEAF), without any communication access is unnerving! #accessibilityfail
