Ive intensely supported Sheffield United for getting on for 55 years ever since my dad took me to a game as a small child. I can't get away from it and its a central part of who I am. All obviously to do with feelings of family and roots.

I think the whole prayer thing was essentially a teenage rebellion against that. Knowing it would be very politically difficult to challenge a religious based rebellion.

In a poll in Nov 64% of Muslims said they now intended to vote Lab, so that's a loss of about 20% on the 2019 vote. 20% of 7800 = about 1600. Meanwhile polls show a national swing to Lab of around 16%. That whacks up Streetings majority to around 20,000. TLDR: he's safe.

Nah. Any votes she gets will be Muslims who don't like Labour's stance on Gaza. Ilford North has 15000 Muslim voters. Turnout last time was 68%, so we can assume roughly 10,000 voted. Nationally around 78% of Muslims voted Lab last time, so that's around 7800 in Ilford N. 1/2

I think the difficulty here is people not seeing the distinction between "violence is an inevitable part of the human condition and will never be entirely eradicated" with "all particular acts of violence are inevitable".

We know for a fact its inevitable there will be a certain number of road deaths in the UK this year. That doesn't mean that each particular road death was inevitable.
