This week at @AtlanticCouncil’s Global Energy Forum, I discussed how President Trump’s energy dominance agenda is about growing our domestic energy production—in all forms that make economic sense for the U.S.—so we can better energize our country and export energy to our allies abroad.

I am very proud of @POTUS’ courage, I’ve not met anyone who’s comfortable with a nuclear armed Iran. This conflict will pass. But Democratic policies that drive up electricity prices, gasoline prices, diesel prices—those have been permanent.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit Sable Offshore Corp., where oil is flowing once again! This restart marks a bold shift from restrictive, energy-subtractive policies to a future of strengthened domestic production, lower prices, and greater energy security.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve should be used strategically, not politically. Biden tapped the SPR to try to win an election. President Trump is tactically trading every barrel for a 25% return in the next year, adding 40 million barrels to the SPR without a taxpayer dollar.

When America sets bold goals, America delivers. Last year, President Trump challenged our nation to bring multiple advanced reactors to criticality by America’s 250th Anniversary. Today, we reach an important milestone as the first non-light-water reactor goes critical in more than 40 years. American workers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and local communities made this possible. Their achievement is proof that the United States still leads the world in innovation—and that America’s nuclear renaissance is well underway.

For more than 100 years, coal has powered the modern world. And thanks to President Trump’s commitment to affordable, reliable, and secure energy, coal will continue helping meet the world’s growing electricity demand for generations to come.

California is the poster child of expensive energy policies—gas $2 higher than the national average, reliance on foreign oil imports, aggressive ‘clean energy’ taxes on every gallon at the pump.   That’s not the result of any global crisis, it’s the result of bad energy policies.

Last year, President Trump set an aggressive goal: next generation nuclear reactors critical by July 4th of this year—for America's 250th. We are on track to have multiple reactors achieve criticality to meet @POTUS' goal and accelerate the American Nuclear Renaissance.

Day one, we ended Biden's disastrous LNG export ban. Now, under @POTUS, the U.S. leads in LNG exports—with no signs of slowing down. That is American Energy Dominance. And Golden Pass LNG is just one example of this.

The previous administration politicized the electricity grid, somehow thinking we're going to stop the planet from melting down by making electricity less reliable and more expensive. President Trump is tirelessly at work to reverse their energy subtraction agenda and bring more energy addition.

President Trump has unleashed the Golden Age of American Energy. We must reindustrialize and manufacture energy intensive infrastructure in our country again to strengthen national security and expand economic opportunity.

This is courageous leadership by President Trump.   He's putting the long term interest of American people in front of short term political advantage.    That's what real leadership is all about.

The Commonwealth LNG project is another major milestone for American LNG production, all possible thanks to President Trump! This was the first project approval after @POTUS ended Biden's reckless freeze on LNG permits—reinforcing America’s leadership in LNG exports.
