If it’s okay to not be okay... then why do 22% of Scots still think ‘crazy’ is an acceptable term? Change starts with us. Read the full story 👇 buff.ly/XgtylAK

We know that mental health stigma and discrimination have a big impact on people – so it’s important to be able to recognise it, and know how to challenge it. buff.ly/435gRVC

💚 Today marks Time To Talk Day, an opportunity for all of us to be more open about our mental health and talk about how we really feel. The day is all about creating supportive spaces and opening up conversations with others regarding mental health. Anyone can struggle at times, which is why it's so important to be able to talk about it. Our Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) team, along with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) have been hosting conversation cafes throughout the start of this year, with even more taking place throghout February. These create a safe space in local stations and depots, where all ScotRail staff are welcome to attend, open up and discuss mental health, as well as showing support for others. We're working to break the stigma surrounding mental health. #TimeToTalk #MentalHealthMatters

We asked our staff what makes them feel comfortable talking about their mental health – and what would help them open up. Here’s what they had to say. #TimeToTalk

“It's not so much about how people see me. It's what people see their own interpretation of me and then apply that over who I am. “And, unfortunately, that’s a little bit of self-stigma but also public stigma.” Read Lisa's story ⬇ buff.ly/4gpHV8Q
