All the news circulating on social media that a former Army Chief met Imran Khan in Adiala Jail are fake. We have checked with Barrister Gohar and he has also confirmed that this is totally fake! It is disinformation especially spread to distract from the fact that Imran Khan is being tortured through total isolation. A distraction from the fact that: 1) He is not allowed proper treatment for his eye in a proper hospital. 2) He has not been allowed to speak to his sons. 3) He has not been allowed books for the past 6 months. 4) He has no television 5) He has not been allowed contact with anyone from the outside world in the past 6 months, except two visits by his lawyer on the orders of the court. There is a full bench court order that allows for at least 18 people to visit him every week. 6 family members and 6 lawyers on Tuesdays, and 6 party members on Thursdays. All above are Imran Khan’s lawful rights, under Pakistan’s laws and the International laws.

Transfer Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital for proper medical examination and treatment, in the presence of specialists, his personal doctor, and family. 3. Ensure Chief Justice Dogar takes up the bail applications of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi so they can be released from this illegal imprisonment without delay. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan is in solitary confinement since October 16, 2025. He has spoken to his sons only twice in 2025 and once in February 2026 after Supreme Court orders. He has been denied books to read. He has received only 3 of the dozen books that we managed to get to adiala through a judge. Then, a perfectly health and fit Imran Khan suddenly develops a clot in his eye. He was not provided medical assistance. For two weeks, he repeatedly told the jail superintendent that he CANNOT SEE. The Adiala Jail superintendent Ghafoor Anjum DELAYED calling in a specialist for three months. By the time the eye doctor came, the delay caused permanent damage to Imran Khan’s eye. We are extremely worried that his other eye could also develop a clot. Imran khan has repeatedly sent messages over past few months that he is not satisfied with the treatment and there is only marginal improvement after the first injection in the eye. No improvement since then. Over the past month, Bushra Bibi, his wife has also developed an eye condition and was operated upon last week. Imran khan and his wife are being tortured through solitary confinement. We have repeatedly protested, demanding Imran Khan to be examined and treated at Shifa International Islamabad. There is an urgent need to identify the cause of the blood clot. Our worry is that his other eye could also develop a clot unless proper diagnosis is done and it’s treated accordingly This is inhumane and a violation of all fundemental and human rights of a prisoner under Pakistan and International laws.

It has now been established that both Imran Khan and Bushra Khan were denied critical medical care despite repeated complaints of loss of vision. The Adiala jail authorities and the Colonel who is their handler have acted criminally to sabotage the eye-sight of a former prime minister and his wife. Supporters of justice and humanity globally have a moral obligation to raise their voices against the continued, inhumane and torturous solitary confinement of Imran Khan and Bushra Khan. He has said he can endure this ظلم himself, but she is being broken to force him into submission. The pressure is deliberate, calculated, and inhumane. He said clearly “no deal, no surrender! It is liberty or death.”

My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public promise that they could safely travel there to see their father after 4 years, made by both Defence Minister @khawajaMAsif to @mehdirhasan & PM spokesperson @mosharrafzaidi to @SkyYaldaHakim Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt. This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.
