The fabulous Royal British Legion ladies have decorated the Town Hall Railings and garden with knitted purple poppies in remembrance of all the horses and other animals that lost their lives in the First World War. Over 8 million horses, countless mules and donkeys died.

Today, Selby signed a new twinning agreement...with Selby! @SelbyTC & @Greater_Napanee met to formally link our town with Selby, Ontario! Mayors Michael Dyson & @MayorMarg were joined by comedians @timfitzhigham & @thejohnhastings, whose Tale Of Two Selbys podcast led to this day
