The #zebrafish-#Trypanosome model strikes again! Thanks to the transparency of zebrafish we were able to SEE the formation of foamy macrophages (fat cells) for the first time during an extracellular trypanosome infection, in vivo, in a live vertebrate host! Seeing is believing!
