207 teachers graduated today from the 2-year Literacy Program at Maridi NTTI, earning Diplomas & Certificates in teacher education. Supported by the Ministry of General Education and Instruction and Finn Church Aid, this milestone strengthens foundational learning in South Sudan.
In his keynote address, Hon. Martin Tako Mayi, Deputy Minister of General Education and Instruction, emphasized the importance of continuous professional development for teachers, urging the graduates to serve as ambassadors of change in their respective schools and communities.
