Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸
The Stars and Stripes have proudly flown since 1777. You’ll see them flying high from Brookfield to Litchfield, New Milford to Torrington and all across the 30th District. A reminder of the freedom we’re fortunate to have and the men and women who defended it.
A tragic incident has impacted the
Town of Winchester. My sincere condolences are with all who are impacted and you will continue to be in my thoughts. Thank you to the first responders and law enforcement personnel who responded. nbcconnecticut.app.link/gAPf…
Great day for the Brookfield Lions Club Strides to Cure Diabetes Run with my dad! This event brings the Brookfield community together to raise awareness and support diabetes research, something I care deeply about, having a mother who has lived with Type 1 for over 40 years.
Busy Friday in Litchfield County! Rep. Reddington-Hughes and I met with constituents this morning at Patty’s Restaurant to recap the legislative session. Then it was off to Goshen for a senior picnic. Always great catching up and hearing what matters most to our communities!
☕️Join us for coffee! State Representative Karen Reddington-Hughes and I will be at Patty’s Restaurant in Litchfield on Friday, June 5th, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. for “Coffee & Conversation.” Hope to see you there!
Great news for Brookfield & Torrington! The State Bond Commission approved:
🏠$1.75M for the Brookfield Housing Authority to repair senior and disabled housing units.
💰$698K for Torrington’s Market Street Creatives Project.
The rain didn’t stop us from paying tribute to those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I had the privilege of attending Memorial Day ceremonies with my son and Rep. Buckbee in New Milford and with Rep. Reddington-Hughes at the American Legion Post 27. 🇺🇸
Today, we honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we hold dear come at a profound cost. We are forever grateful to those who have served and protected our country. We will never forget.
I had the pleasure of joining Rep. Karen Reddington-Hughes to honor Hopkins Vineyard for a remarkable achievement. Their 2024 “Heritage” Riesling was recently served to King Charles III at a White House State Dinner. Congrats to Hopkins Vineyard! You’ve made our district proud!
This morning, Sen. Harding joined host Gary Byron on The Talk of Connecticut to discuss a proposed 11% electricity rate hike from one of Connecticut’s largest utility companies. The hardworking people in our state are already stretched thin. They shouldn’t have to worry about keeping the lights on.
During the 2026 Legislative Session, Senate Republicans put forward a proposal to eliminate Public Benefits Charges from your electric bill and lower electricity rates, but it was voted down on party lines. Connecticut residents deserve better. Listen to the interview to hear more.
From press conferences and a Farmers Forum to the Senate floor, I’ve stood with CT’s farmers. Legislation providing millions in tax credits and grants has now passed both chambers. I urge Gov. Lamont to sign this bill. It’s time we give farmers the support they deserve!
To every officer who shows up for our communities every day, your selflessness and dedication do not go unnoticed. I will always advocate for the support and resources you deserve.Thank you for all that you do. #NationalPoliceWeek
On this Mother’s Day, we celebrate the remarkable women whose strength, love, and resilience shape the world around us. To all the incredible moms across Connecticut, thank you for everything you do today and every day.
The 2026 Legislative Session is officially adjourned! To every resident of the 30th District who has trusted me to be your voice in Hartford, thank you. It is truly the honor of a lifetime. Now comes the best part — getting back out into the district, and connecting with you!
Happening now: The debate over parental and educational rights for homeschool, private and parochial families. H.B. 5468 targets thousands of people who have shown up, spoken out, and exercised their right to choose the type of education that’s best for their children.
I was proud to honor the law enforcement and K-9 officers who protect our Capitol and communities in the Senate. These officers go above and beyond to keep lawmakers, staff, and visitors safe. Proud to recognize their world-class K-9 training program and unwavering dedication!
You should have the right to make the medical decisions that are best for you and your family. Yesterday, I stood with my Senate Republican colleagues and spoke out in favor of medical freedom. Watch my full remarks.

🇺🇸🐐New Milford Day at the Capitol! So great to welcome businesses, farms, restaurants, and community organizations to Hartford. Grateful to serve alongside Rep. Billy Buckbee, Rep. Patrick Callahan, and Rep. Jason Buchsbaum!
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Legislative Update in Torrington with @RepJoeCanino and Rep. Jay Case! From tax relief to housing mandates to the cost-of-living crisis, we’ll keep fighting for the issues that matter most!
