Are you a First Nations, Métis or Inuit youth aged 18 to 35?
Through Voices of Youth Indigenous Leaders, the Senate Committee on Indigenous Peoples is inviting youth to share how they are making a difference in their communities and the ideas they have for the future.
Selected participants will be invited to Ottawa to meet senators, share their stories and contribute to conversations that help inform the committee’s work.

🏗️ This week at the site of Centre Block’s rehabilitation: Senators Eric Forest, Lucie Moncion, @SenatorRavalia, @SenKristaRoss and Karen Sorensen got a close-up look at the upgraded luffing crane, a specialized crane well suited to complex urban construction projects. Equipped with a longer boom, it will play an important role in upcoming work on the iconic Peace Tower.

🏗️ Cette semaine sur le chantier de réhabilitation de l’édifice du Centre : les sénateurs Eric Forest, Lucie Moncion, @SenatorRavalia, @SenKristaRoss et Karen Sorensen ont eu l’occasion d’observer de près la grue à flèche relevable modernisée, un type de grue particulièrement bien adapté aux projets de construction complexes en milieu urbain. Dotée d’une flèche plus longue, elle jouera un rôle important dans les travaux à venir sur l'emblématique Tour de la Paix.
