My family and I, along with our Prince George’s community, mourn the tragic loss of Dacara Thompson. Our prayers are with her family. We are counting on the justice system to hold the murderer accountable. Grateful to PGPD and all working to bring justice.

DNC Chair @KenMartin73's statement on Trump's unilateral act of war with Iran.
ALT In January — speaking to the entire nation at his Inauguration - Donald Trump proclaimed ‘We will measure our success not only by the battles we win, but also by the wars that we end, and perhaps most importantly, the wars we never get into.’
Today, against his own words, the president sent bombers into Iran.
Americans overwhelmingly do not want to go to war.
Americans do not want to risk the safety of our troops abroad.
Americans do not want a president who bypasses our constitution and pulls us towards war without Congressional approval.
Donald Trump needs to bring his case to Congress immediately.
Trump said he would end wars. Tonight, he dragged us into one. His decision violates the Constitution, endangers American lives and risks unleashing dangerous forces we can’t control.

Join me and my colleagues for a Post-Session Town Hall this Saturday at 10am. We will discuss the budget, MAGLEV, Feds, Economy, and Investments in District 22 and PGC.
🚨RFK UPDATE🚨
Sources say stadium discussions between District & Commanders continue to progress while DC waits for budget fix from Congress. No deal would be announced until after bill passes restoring DC budget, which likely won’t happen until end of April at earliest.

The President of El Salvador said he does not plan to release the Maryland father who is being held in a notorious Salvadoran prison after being mistakenly deported by the Trump administration last month.

I haven’t missed a single vote today on the Senate floor—killing every Republican attempt to gut the Blueprint and defund public hospitals. I’m standing up for Maryland’s schools, hospitals, and working families. Red Vote all the way! #Working4Maryland
As County Executive - education funding will never be on the chopping block.
I’ll always stand by our students. Turning our backs on the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future would be a massive mistake.
Our county has just 150 designated community police officers serving a population of almost 1 million - this is unacceptable and will change under my administration.
We need to build better trust between law enforcement and community leaders.
@7NewsDC debate on WJLA
It’s time for new leadership and a new direction. We can’t keep electing the same people and expect different results. I’m running because we need someone with a real vision and a fresh perspective in the county executive’s office.

On behalf of my family, my prayers are with those impacted by the tragic midair collision near Reagan National. We are saddened by this tragedy. Grateful to our state agencies including @MDSP and @MarylandDNR for stepping up to join in the response. 🙏🏾
To recap, the Republican Party has opposed:
-Paid sick leave
-Paid family & medical leave
-Universal childcare
-Universal pre-K
-Tax increases on corporations & the rich
-The expanded Child Tax Credit
-Student debt relief
Doesn't sound like the party of the working class to me.
Ask yourself: what would happen if Kamala Harris did this?
Yes. You saw right. This is Trump on stage at a rally, pretending to perform a sex-act on a microphone.
This is not normal. Trump is disgusting, unhinged and unfit to represent the United States. Vote him out.
Larry Hogan did not mince words when he said that Donald Trump deserves credit for his accomplishments in office, and called Trump's Justices "incredible."
I wholeheartedly disagree.
