#NEW: @GovKathyHochul has signed S739A, my bill with @SandyGalef, to allow lay individuals to be designated as one-day marriage officiants.
This bill will provide New York couples with the opportunity to have a loved one officiate their marriage.

#NEW: @GovKathyHochul has signed S7867A, my bill to establish a statewide electronic tracking system for rape kits.
This system will restore agency to survivors by allowing them access to information on the status of their rape kit if and when they are ready.

#NEW: @GovKathyHochul has signed S4839B, my bill to prohibit the manufacture or sale of cosmetics tested on animals.
No animal should ever have to face abuse or unsafe conditions, and this legislation makes it clear that New York will not tolerate their mistreatment.

All employers will now be required to provide employees access to private lactation rooms. No one should have to choose between nursing their child and their job.
