I sat down with ABC Radio National to remind this country to get used to Truth-Telling because I'm not going anywhere.

Today the government announced it will sue 3M for $2 billion over the role the company played in poisoning our country with toxic PFAS forever chemicals.

PFAS chemicals continue to harm our health and environment. We need to stop the threat at the source by banning PFAS-containing products except where genuinely essential.

The Minister for Indigenous Australians, and the National Indigenous Australians Agency are up at Estimates this morning. I've just asked about the stalled funding for NT remote communities, and have some more questions about federal money for NT cops, and big corporations like the NRL and AFL. Documents I forced the government to release show that an $840m funding package they announced over a year ago for NT remote communities hasn't delivered a single cent to our people. We know our remote communities are suffering and our services are stretched to breaking point. This level of incompetence from the NT and Federal governments is unacceptable. The Minister for Indigenous Australians and the NT Chief Minister owe us an explanation, and I'll be pushing for it in estimates tomorrow! nit.com.au/25-05-2026/24445/…

While there wasn't much in Labor's budget for our people beyond the status quo, we did achieve some justice for Stolen Generation survivors. Under this change, redress payments for survivors will no longer be included in aged care asset testing. These payments are meant to acknowledge the harm caused by governments. They should never have been clawed back through the aged care system. This is something that our Elders, and organisations like NATSIACC and the Healing Foundation, have been long fighting for. And I have raised this multiple times with the Minister, as well as through budget submissions and by providing costings to the government. There is still much more work to do to ensure our Elders receive proper care and dignity, but this is a step in the right direction. nit.com.au/12-05-2026/24232/…

Today marks 35 years since the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody handed down its recommendations. These recommendations will help stop deaths of everyone in custody, not only First Peoples. A number of families whose relatives' deaths were investigated during the Royal Commission have been requesting to meet with the Prime Minister to discuss the lack of progress, but his office has so far refused to meet with them. Albanese refuses to show leadership, and refuses to use the powers he has to stop these deaths. He is part of the problem. nit.com.au/15-04-2026/23715/…

People are expressing outrage about how Ben Roberts-Smith was arrested, saying it was too public. He was arrested with no cuffs, not a hand on him, despite facing allegations of war crimes. I can’t help but think of the young Aboriginal boy wrongly arrested at gunpoint by the AFP on a Canberra bus. A boy who was wrongly identified, profiled because he was Aboriginal, searched even after police realised they had the wrong person. An innocent child, just trying to get home – publicly humiliated, a gun drawn on him. Where was the outrage then? Where has it been for the hundreds of Black and brown people who don’t survive police arrests, who die at their hands? Spare me your tears for Ben Roberts-Smith. If you have a problem with the police, at least be consistent.

Utterly horrific. Two young boys and their parents shot in the head by the IDF in the occupied West Bank on their way home from a Ramadan shopping trip. The soldiers then beat and taunted the two surviving brothers, telling the boys they 'killed dogs'. This is a regime that the Albanese government is backing. Absolute shame on them. We cannot look away from Palestine. theguardian.com/world/2026/m…

The opposition to the destruction of Binybara Lee Point has grown to the point that even Territory Labor is calling for a halt to this disastrous project. The Albanese government has so far refused to listen to Traditional Owners who have not consented to this destruction of their Country. Now we’ll see if Albanese is willing to listen to his own colleagues in the Northern Territory, who have just campaigned against the federal-led project in the Nightcliff by-election. And I look forward to seeing NT Labor and the Minister for Indigenous Australians protesting with the people against this. nit.com.au/10-03-2026/23084/…
