We’ve noted your frustrations regarding the payment of stipends during this period.We,d like to clarify the process for you so that everyone understands how things will work in the current environment.Below is an outline of the basis on which stipends will be paid going forward.
We understand that there are training providers or employers who could not send the registers before the cut-off date for the April cycle. We request that they please send the attendance registers as soon as possible.
Learners who are owed stipends for previous months must please request their training providers to contact the Services SETA and ensure all documentation has been sent to allow payment.
New regulations for South Africans under level 4 of the new alert system will come into force from May 1. As we begin to ease some lockdown measures, it is vital that strict limits on movement and gatherings remain in place to ensure we continue to control the spread of COVID-19.
