SetUserFTA v2.7.0 is out! Faster and more reliable with performance improvements and bug fixes. It now detects existing associations and only re-creates them when you use -reapply.

RELEASE: SetUserFTA v2.5.0 is now available. SilentFTA is included as a free add-on for all existing customers. Additionally, it properly handles the UCPD.sys v4.1 bug. The update is available through the download portal.

Microsoft has released a new version of UCPD.sys, which impacts the functionality of the licensed edition of SetUserFTA for HTTP, HTTPS, and .PDF associations. An update will be available shortly to address this issue.
SetUserFTA 2.0 can now display the command line associated with a file type, making it significantly easier to troubleshoot issues related to file associations.
UCPD.sys version 3.0.0 is being distributed through Windows Updates. It added InfDefaultInstall.exe and pwsh.exe to the deny list, thus preventing them from changing the default browser.
UPDATE: SetUserFTA v1.8.1 - fixes a bug where new extensions could not be associated (only existing ones worked properly) affected v1.8 only. Check setuserfta.com for more information.
