There is much to like about Shadow Defence Secretary, John Healey. His intelligent and measured response to Russian aggression, together with Kier Starmer’s insightful Telegraph article today, suggests that Labour is restoring its credibility as a safe pair of hands for defence.

Whilst Westminster held its #GurkhaPensionDebate, those who served our country with distinction stood outside in the cold for 4 hours waiting for Government to give them hope. With the Minister failing to answer questions, Labour will work with others to find a fair way forward

Thinking of my uncle Sgt Vernon Coaker who I’m named after.
He was 23 when killed in action during a raid on the village of Le Plein 6/6/1944. He was laid to rest in the Ranville War Cemetery.
We must never forget those who paid the ultimate price for our future #RemembranceDay
