AI is amazing for getting working game builds into reality, so you can actually prove it works without wasting all your time & budget on middlemen - but it also removes artists from a product that is seeking to evoke human emotions from human players and I believe we should seek and lay the groundwork for how to use AI as a hybrid tool instead of completely replacing human skill - so the Death Touch development model will be one that uses AI in every single way possible to make it the most badass, deep & entertaining game we can - BUT! For every Death Touch character that gets finalized in alpha, we will be pursuing human artist commissions and human sfx/voice commissions to replace the AI concept assets. The AI sprints, the human touch finalizes it, it’ll be a fast and fun ride.
