Just got into a little spat. Someone was try ing to arrange a hook up for a friend. He was told, “Don’t bother with X, he’s a doctor and doesn’t have time.” My response: BULLSHIT!. Doctors indeed do important work. But it is not an excuse for being “too busy to be in touch.” All the people I most admire are “too busy to be in touch” – – but they manage to “find the time “ to engage with others.
