Sometimes circumstances are what they are. You may not be able to change what’s going on around you but you can change your approach. #jobsearch #careers

Imagine having this many gun incidents near the President (staged or not), and believing a $1 billion ballroom is the solution instead of gun regulation and mental health programs.

Who would have thought this would still be so relevant 60 years later?

"Women over 50 who have had to change sectors or rebuild confidence after setbacks often develop a powerful capacity to learn, unlearn, and relearn." "They thrive on discernment: the ability to read a situation, understand context, weigh trade-offs, & anticipate consequences."
Why women over 50 are the future of work in the age of AI And why you should hire them to survive in a world of chaos. #AI #Work fastcompany.com/91505607/why…

The same idiots who think Trump, who dodged the draft five times, knows how to win a war also think Trump, who declared bankruptcy six times, knows how to run the economy. That’s what Trump Derangement Syndrome actually looks like.

It’s hard to come up with two worse people for this moment than Trump and Hegseth. Incompetent, impulsive, insecure, boastful, petty, unprepared, irresponsible liars.

The squalor of Trump has brought us back to the basics — especially understanding the importance of checks and balances and separation of powers. This is a mess of Trump's own making — and a reminder that he's not all powerful. nbcnews.com/politics/supreme…

Most people aren't staying at their jobs because they're happy. They're staying because the alternative is worse. During the ZIRP era, you could spell javascript and earn yourself an offer elsewhere with a 20% salary increase. Now these days? You're competing against the largest pool of active, qualified candidates in your career. Interview processes are longer, more intense, and that's assuming you even hear back. Most people are sending hundreds of applications just to get a single call. To many folks currently employed, it's simply not worth it to see what else is out there.

He’s everything you taught your children not to be. You’d never work with him. You’d never work for him. You’d never do business with him. You’d never want to be friends with him. You’d never trust your wife or your daughter with him. Yet, this country put him in power. Twice.
Trump: "I flew to Iraq. I was extremely brave. So brave I wanted to give myself the Congressional Medal of Honor ... someday I'm gonna try. I'll test the law."
