Scouring every best practice guideline I've gotten my hands on to find direction and rationale to use low dose oxygen therapy (if indicated) before naloxone to reverse an opiate overdose. Can't find a thing so far. Anyone? @Timgthr @sarahblyth @ZoeDodd @HGHobbs

I was thrilled by the original public health order for RN safe supply prescribing but disenchanted when I learned that it was really only suboxone prescribing. Suboxone is not safe supply. How about adding a PHO for MD safe supply prescribing? globalnews.ca/news/7577854/f…

As a palliative care nurse, I am used to death and dying. But overdose deaths level a very different type of grief. A type that I’m struggling to process. To those who see and live this grief day in and day out- I don’t know how you do it. Thank you.
