Sakina Itoo ji, it took nearly 30 years to grow from 12,000 votes to 36,000 votes. In comparison, Iltija Mufti, despite having far less political experience, managed to secure around 23,000 votes in her very first election.
As for Nazir Sahib, he is still known by only about 8,000 voters. 😜
And Altaf Sahib, despite his vast political experience, is still unable to cross the 25,000-vote mark—just around 2,000 votes more than Iltija ji.

It is encouraging to see young leader @parawahid along with his team standing firmly with the farmers of Padgampora and Dangerpora, who are being denied the right to cultivate nearly 1,000 kanals of land that they have tilled for years. Today, they stood with them in sowing paddy on these very fields. Land that sustains livelihoods cannot be alienated through bulldozer politics. When will the ruling government choose to stand with its people? It is time for meaningful change and a comprehensive land protection bill. The people deserve clarity and courage from those in power.

@OmarAbdullah government busy threatening protesters has no answer for farmers. By rejecting the PDP’s Land Protection Bill despite repeated appeals by @mehboobamufti, government has chosen land grabs over livelihoods.

For the first time on Eid , the Food Department’s market checking squad seems completely missing in action. There is no control over skyrocketing rates, especially of Qurbani sheep, meat, bakery items, and other essentials ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.
