KIND advice, please. In June, an older @ALLSTATE driver hit me in the rear & was found at fault by the police. He jumped out of his car, yelling at me. Later, before the police came, he put his arm around me & stated that we should just let let our own insurers pay for damages.

@allstate approved my homeowners claim, then found "new evidence" to deny my claim when I excersized my right to use my own contractor. I'll pray that you win millions, @allstate doesn't care about thier customers.

I guess I’m a bit jaded coming from my area, it’s often who you know around here. I’m incredulous that Allstate decided to take the report of the driver over the officer who witnessed it via cctv! I’m a bit po’d. #DoTheRightThing

Truly insane that you have to spend $ to defend yourself especially with the police report.

Sheugs your insurance company has to fight Allstate! They will deny you every time! You have to regroup with your insurance company and fight this! It is obvious the other driver was at fault!

Sorry this happened to you, Sheugs. If you have a police report stating that the other driver is at fault, I don’t see how the insurance company can just say no. They could say they want other estimates for damage repair, but not just no. The opinion of the other driver should not override the official police report. If the insurance company doesn’t honor the police report, I guess suing them is your recourse…and them ending up paying all the court costs. You know everyone…I’m sure you know a good attorney. What a pain. Best of luck.

If I take @allstate to court, It won't be small claims. But companies like @Allstate Should just do the right thing! I was hit. I was yelled at & intimidated. I was touched. I have spent dozens of hours already filing, answering emails and following up. #whypeoplesue

You had the right of way, the other driver is at fault. His insurance should be paying your damages. At least he should pay your insurance deductible.

The @Allstate driver was agitated when found at fault. There is CTV. No damage to his car. @Allstate denied my claim. "He said I hit him." No appeal process. So, how much should I ask for, above damages? #thataintright #whypeoplesue #justdotherightthing
