About last night… 😮 Grateful, honoured and proud to have won Book of the Year 2023 for my book Energize in the Wellness & Wellbeing category at The @BizBookAwardUK last night. It has been an absolute rollercoaster of a ride since publishing my book with @PenguinUKBooks. And while there is more to come, it’s so important to pause along the way to reflect just how far we have come. Onwards and upwards 🚀

One of the most beautiful things about being alive is that some of your favourite days haven't happened yet. There are conversations you haven't had that will change the way you see the world. Friendships you haven't made that will become some of the most meaningful relationships of your life. Places you haven't visited that will leave a permanent mark on your heart. And opportunities you can't yet see.

You are the most important project you will ever work on: Your mindset. Your emotional maturity. Your ability to keep showing up when no one's watching. And the quiet, daily work of becoming someone you're proud of. We spend so much time building lives that look good on the outside, but the real transformation happens within ourselves. In the choices no one sees, in the beliefs you challenge and in the habits you choose when comfort would have been easier. There is no finish line for personal growth. There's only deeper self-awareness, stronger boundaries, better questions and more alignment. And the greatest reward from truly investing in yourself will never be in what you earn, but in the person you become.

There will be moments in your life you wish you had handled differently…. Things you said. Things you didn't say. Decisions you made without fully understanding their consequences. And with the clarity you have now, it is easy to look back and think: "I should have known better." But you couldn't have. Because you only know now what time has taught you and back then, you were only doing the best you could with what you knew. This is why wisdom is the echo of experience. So instead of holding onto regret, give yourself compassion. Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach. Life is not about getting everything right the first time. It is about evolving and becoming someone who understands more than they once did.

One day, you'll look back at the choices that shaped your life… The moments where you stood at a crossroads and decided to take a chance on the life you wanted. At the time, it will have felt terrifying. But the greatest rewards in life come from decisions that look irrational to others. Choosing a path without guarantees and betting on something that only makes sense to you. From the outside, it can look reckless. From the inside, it feels necessary. Because something in you knows: there's a difference between living a life that looks right and one that feels right. It's why it's a beautiful thing to look back and realize you were brave enough to chase the life you wanted. That you didn't hold yourself back and that you gave your dreams a real chance.

Energy is the most attractive thing a person can have. The way someone walks into a room and makes it feel different. The way their curiosity pulls you in and their enthusiasm reminds you that life is worth being excited about. And the way they make people feel seen, appreciated and inspired. That kind of energy is magnetic. People are drawn towards energy that feels expansive because energy is contagious. One negative person can drain an entire room. But one genuinely energized person can lift it too. Truth is: your energy introduces you long before you speak a single word. This is why your presence can become a superpower. And the energy you project into the world is simply a mirror of the work you have done within yourself.

Your beliefs influence how you see, feel, act and respond to the world. Because what you believe determines what you notice. If you believe there's no magic in life, you'll overlook it every time it appears. You'll dismiss coincidence as luck, wonder as childishness and possibility as unrealistic. And eventually, life will begin to feel exactly the way you expected it to: predictable and limited. But the opposite is also true. If you believe life is filled with meaning, you'll start to notice signs everywhere. The conversation that arrives at the perfect moment. The opportunity hidden inside rejection. The strange way life sometimes redirects you toward exactly where you were meant to be. Truth is: the stories we tell ourselves eventually become the lives we live.

What you do in private always shows in public. Following what you're curious about shows in your creativity. Regular exercise shows in your physique. And a commitment to learning shows in your conversations. It's what you do in the dark where no one is watching that puts you in the light where everyone is watching.

Mastery is the echo of consistency. Happiness is the echo of gratitude. Confidence is the echo of courage. Money is the echo of value. Achievement is the echo of belief. Wisdom is the echo of reflection. Insight is the echo of stillness.
