Just over 3 weeks until I take on #islandwalk for #mindfulserve. I’m taking on this challenge to raise money to help hospitality and tourism workers in Jersey access mental health help when they need it. If you can, please support the cause. justgiving.com/crowdfunding/…
Delighted to help this valuable initiative and the many individuals it will support.
Please check out the Mindful Serve website, and like and share @SimonSoar’s Mindful Serve Jersey Facebook page.

Please sign the below petition and support our hospitality industry. As much as we all want to protect the community, given the low number of cases we feel restrictions need to relaxed sooner rather than later to save our businesses from bankruptcy. buff.ly/39i4DQy
While I continue to do my best to aid my industry in adhering, when I hear multiple reports of the public playing the rules and threatening/blackmailing venues over all of this I am truly disgusted. As if our industry hadn’t suffered enough
For clarity here; we strongly support the work the Employment Forum does every year. It’s consulted heavily and the recommendations carefully balanced before being put forward. With so much uncertainty over the next few months, the employment forums work will be paramount
We'd like to thank islanders for their continued support of the hospitality industry over recent months, remembering that a positive review or shout out can do wonders for any establishment. #staycations

Not to vote on this now will do nothing but damage to the industry. Not knowing ahead today means venues will have 24 hours to prepare for visitors. Simply unacceptable
Deputy Chief Minister, @lyndonfarnham says he firmly believes many Islanders are hoping & waiting to travel once again and the easing of travel restrictions will allow them to do this. He added that there is an individual freedom of choice and responsibility associated with this.
Heard Doctor Susan Turnbull on @BBCJersey yesterday she said risk of #COVIDー19 infection from U.K. visitors is very low so really hoping Ministers get the backing they need today.
A delay of a week makes no sense. We have superb new operating procedures in place and will be dealing with small numbers to deal with. Every week we are closed is another £5 million lost
Let’s hope tomorrow sees the correct support for the proposition to open our borders. Our hospitality and tourism industry have prepared carefully to operate in a safe manner, we just need guests to start the season now.
