Day 2 of the @EFWConference. So much energy for #NetZero transition. Key take aways:
- #EfW is unique in industry being able to deliver net carbon benefit.
- #ETS is going to make EFW pricing complicated!
- #recycling captured #carbon into new consumer products is possible.

Taking action on climate change should be cross-party and not used for playing party politics if we are serious about delivering emissions reductions across a period that will span several governments.

It’s really important for landowners and landlords to understand this. I live in a rural area and know a few farmers that have been caught out by offers to store stuff which turns out to be waste (tyres, baled waste etc.) and end up footing the bill for criminals #farming #crime

I absolutely love this. There is so much potential for more re-use in healthcare and the carbon savings associated with all that metal! Nice one @suezUK
In Surrey we donated 401 walking frames & 1032 crutches to be put back into use in the #NHS saving over £30,000. We hope to see this model scaled up nationwide to help put this vital equipment back to use, reduce waste and support the NHS. #reuse #NHS75 bit.ly/43d1F9c
