Your Biggest Fan 4. The Loneliness 5. Brutal Love 6. Butterscotch Bitch Thank you to everyone who has listened to the songs that are already out in the world. Thank you to all the fans of this show for your passion. Thank you to everyone who came to the premiere. I'm genuinely sorry to anyone who wanted to be there but wasn't, for whatever reason. Thank you for cheering for me, out on the street, and in the theater. It was surreal and incredibly moving. We had so much fun playing these songs. I had so much fun performing on that stage. I'm very proud of what we've made. It's been a strange thing for me: to give so much of my energy, time, and attention to a fictional vampire, when the very real world seems to need all of us to give it a lot more time, energy, attention, and care than I feel like I've been giving. We tried to make something thoughtful, that had some glimpses of beauty here and there, and as many examinations as we could muster of what it means to be a human on this planet, at this moment. We have to fight for the things we love, don't we? That's the biggest lesson I'm holding onto from this particular Lestat. Stephanie Powers helped me with my hair Tuesday night (thank you Stephanie!) And when she told me that she does the same thing for one of my biggest heroes - Ms. Rachel - I just about fainted. Lex Wood dressed me, as she did the rest of the band. She's just brilliant, but you don't need me to tell you that. Thanks to Hannah Moscovitch for sharing her incredible wisdom and heart, for inspiring me over and over again. And to her and the rest of the amazing writer's room for welcoming me with open arms. Rolin Jones ain't on here and doesn't like reading about himself.
