Fucking hell Tom you’ve got a short memory. You lot cut £12 billion during your first five years in office. Then a 25% reduction in the number of Royal Navy warships, a 50% cut to mine-hunting ships, and delays in upgrading the UK's nuclear deterrent. Sit down!

Interesting. I am a crappy little irrelevant account, but posted against some of the awful right wing shit we are assaulted with daily. Immediately my timeline was awash in a deluge of exactly those accounts. FUCK you Cissy Spacex.

Despite a few residents emailing @SEGROplc about the nesting Skylarks the long grass bund, removal will go ahead on Monday ..apparently their ecologist will locate the nests and create a buffer zone around them..how the hell does that work when surrounded by construction machinery?! 😡 And why wait until summer to remove the bund exposing residents to a panoramic view of a desert and construction machinery ..it’s WRONG! @RupertEvershed @libdemdaisy @RosieP4 @paulpowlesland @StAlbansCouncil @RSPBAction
Advice needed ! I’ve been informed that the bund behind my home where the nesting Skylarks are is to be demolished on the 18th May!! I’ve emailed my local RSPB group. I’ve informed @SEGROplc they are there. This is illegal.

I wasn’t able to take part in #BBCQT from Clacton tonight, as we were told MPs are not allowed to appear on the show in their own constituencies. I’m sure I’ll be back on before too long!

Working class geezer Tom Skinner attended one of the most expensive schools on earth, has a criminal conviction for handling £40K worth of stolen goods and 2,000 diazepam tablets, cheated on his wife, has met JD Vance, and has joined Reform UK. #bbcqt doesn't mention any of that.

This is a perfect example of the utter madness we are living in. You know what this is? What it has been irrefutably proven to be? This is a picture of schoolchildren doing a yoga class. What it isn't is a school forcing children into Muslim prayer, yet that has been used to further radicalise 1000s of normally decent working class people into becoming xenophobic fanatics. This is how propaganda works, and this is all funded by wealthy elites who want to divide and distract us whilst they extract all the value, assets and resources from our economy, and make it impossible for the working people who they use to spread this bs to live.

As an atheist, this.
Something new and uncomfortable is happening on parts of the British right. Religion is being rediscovered. Not as faith. As a political weapon. 1. Figures like Nigel Farage, Robert Jenrick and Tommy Robinson are increasingly framing politics in civilisational terms. Christianity vs. something else, Britain as a religious identity under threat. 2. But this isn’t a revival of faith. It’s a repurposing of it. Christianity is being used less as a belief system and more as a cultural marker. A way of drawing lines around identity. 3. That matters because it is, at its core, selective. The language of “Christian values” appears most often in opposition to immigration, to Islam, to social change. It is rarely accompanied by any serious engagement with the actual religion itself. 4. Genuine faith is inconvenient. It asks for consistency, humility, moral discipline. Political rhetoric is not. It is flexible, opportunistic and used when useful. 5. Which is why the current trend feels less like Reform have found God and more like hypocrisy. Religion is being used as shorthand for belonging, not as a guide to conduct. 6. There is also a clear political incentive. Framing issues in civilisational or religious terms raises the stakes instantly. It turns policy debates into existential struggles, where compromise looks like surrender. The irony is obvious. Many of the loudest voices invoking Christianity are not known for deep religious observance. The appeal isn’t theological. It’s tribal. 7. And that has consequences. Once politics is framed in these terms, it becomes harder to have serious discussions about policy such as migration, integration and housing because everything is recast as identity conflict. It also risks degrading religion itself. When faith becomes a political prop, it loses credibility as a moral force. Religion has always had a place in British public life. But there is a difference between faith shaping politics and politics exploiting faith. What we are seeing now looks much more like the latter.

Fascinating isn't it? The far right were screaming boycott Cadbury because "easter" wasn't mentioned on their easter eggs (some still are screaming about that). When all the evidence was produced to show they were wrong, it has metamorphosed into "Boycott Cadbury because palm oil!" They were pwnd. Without blinking they reverse-engineered their outrage.

More than that Bob, unlike the US , our multicultural society is not collapsing. We have not got people on the streets in numbers being attacked or gassed as violent state forces take innocent citizens away. We do not have a leader involved with paedophilia claims. And more

Since #bbclaurak is trending, let’s remind ourselves that ONE MONTH ago, the BBC invited Mandelson on for a soft-ball interview on her show. While his client, Palantir’s Louis Moseley appeared as a pundit Both, as I wrote at time, were ‘abject failures of journalism’ 1/

The one crucial point that is missing from commentators on Palantir is that Peter Thiel is an all-out financial backer of Free Cities. These are private, segregated enclaves where big government can no longer intervene. They operate under a CEO, not a Prime Minister or President. We are seeing the rise of the Sovereign Corporation as free zones proliferate, which they are doing exponentially in the UK after Brexit. Freeports, SEZs, AI Growth Zones, and Industrial Strategy Zones are a duopoly-backed corporate capture of the commons project passed under secondary legislation. This meant zero Parliamentary debate, zero consultation with the public, and zero notification of the press. This is why nobody has heard of free zones, and also why the MSM and a large contingent of the alternative press are not doing their jobs properly and investigating the nationwide free zones rollout. Free zones and free cities come with massive deregulatory benefits for corporations; self-regulation, far-right neoliberal-aligned politics, from Christian nationalism with military capabilities to digital surveillance systems that embed corporate overreach so far that all products and services become rentable, and can be switched off if users/customers show any form of dissent or 'radical left' political views. I have been researching deregulated free zones for over 8 years. This year I will be published in an anthology about Breakdown and Collapse, my essay will reveal the broader picture of the dangers free zones will bring to bear on social governance. Palantir has secured 24 distinct contracts with UK public institutions. However, when including contract extensions, amendments, and follow-on agreements, the total rises to over 34 across sectors like defense, healthcare, and local government. The overall value of these deals is estimated at £910 million (and full £1.5B partnership potential). Palantir’s 24th contract with UK public institutions was procured with Kier Starmer’s backing, this is the most recent contract, and it is with Coventry City Council. Palantir are embedding its spytech from the top down to local governance levels. This is how you build a panopticon of constant 24/7 surveillance as per Shabana Mahmood’s plans.
