Booted Eagle (dark morph) today, Roskestal Farm, Porthgwarra, Cornwall. This amazing bird is the best rarity I've discovered in Britain by far, and it being a raptor made it more special as they are possibly my favourite bird group. Surely a chance for it to be seen elsewhere?

Spotted Flycatcher nest on @BBCSpringWatch. Wonder how long they will last before we see them munched by a Pine Marten? I hope those in support of Pine Marten introductions are learning something by watching them decimating the likes of Sedge Warblers. @dartmoornpa @ExmoorNP

Some of us aren't dog lovers & don't want t to be clobbered over by dogs when out for a peaceful walk. 'They won't hurt you' is the usual shout from afar WHEN the dog owner comes into sight. How do you know? How many said that just before their pet attacks a child?
