NICDC, participated in a panel discussion on โViksit Bharat 2047: How AI-Powered Cities Will Drive Indiaโs Next Growth Storyโ at Convergence India Expo 2026.
Mr. Vishnu Sharma, DGMโ Corporate Affairs highlighted NICDCโs role under @DPIITGoI, @MoCA_GoI, in planning, integrating, and implementing world-class industrial infrastructure across India. Emphasizing #AI-led development, he noted that digitalization has been embedded in #NICDC projects from the outset.
Over the past decade, #NICDC has developed key Greenfield industrial cities, including #Dholera, along with projects in Maharashtra, Greater Noida, and Madhya Pradesh, with several others under development. These projects feature plug-and-play infrastructure supported by AI-driven systems across core utilities.
He further underlined the significance of the Government of Indiaโs initiative to develop 100 industrial parks under #BHAVYA (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana) scheme, which will drive regional and inclusive growth, particularly in semi-urban and rural areas.
Reiterating NICDCโs collaborative approach, he emphasized continued engagement with industry stakeholders to align infrastructure and policy frameworks with emerging requirements.
