The coronial inquest into the passing of proud Gunditjmara, Dja Dja Wurrung, Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta woman Veronica Nelson, who died in custody while on remand, found that Veronica’s death was preventable, and that Victoria’s bail laws are a ‘complete and unmitigated disaster’.
