A decaying Nation Crying for Leadership. What we have witnessed across our country in just the past 48 hours is not only tragic, it is utterly unacceptable and a damning indictment of our collective failure of leadership. From the reported killings in Katsina, Adamawa, Kaduna and Benue States, to the gruesome murder of an entire family in Plateau State, and the heartbreaking abduction of innocent children in Kogi State, one of the incidents involves children conveying their mother's dead body for burial. Nigeria is bleeding. We are fast becoming a nation where human life is treated as expendable, where citizens live in fear, and where the basic duty of government, to protect lives and property, is repeatedly neglected. 11 innocent Nigerians were killed in Katsina State. 7 more in Benue State. 23 in Adamawa State in just one day. An entire family was brutally murdered in Plateau State. 24 children were abducted from an orphanage in Kogi State, and 10 more children were taken in Kaduna State, all within 48 hours. These are not mere statistics; they are our fellow Nigerians, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, whose lives have been brutally cut short or violently disrupted. This cannot continue. A nation cannot develop under the weight of such persistent insecurity and human tragedy. The normalisation of these horrors is itself a crisis. We must ask, with all sense of urgency and responsibility: where is the leadership? Where is the coordination, the competence, and the compassion required to confront this menace decisively? My heart goes out to all the grieving families across these states. I pray for divine comfort for those who have lost loved ones and for the safe and immediate return of all abducted children. A New Nigeria is not just a slogan; it has become an urgent necessity. A New Nigeria is Possible. -PO

One thing you must understand is that, The Nigerian state is sore afraid of the Igbo land. The one region they will never tolerate anything is the Southeast. What they saw and experienced in the civil war still baffles them till today. A region with no military might except resilience and self-determination withstood the Nigerian military might for 3 years, producing their own local weapons and fuel to fight with ordinary civilians. If not for the hunger and starvation as a result of cutting off of food supply by the Nigerian government to the South East, the Nigerian military wouldn't have prevailed. This is why they are always deploying the whole of their might and strength to the southeast even if every other part of Nigeria is burning they are more conscious of the southeast. You all saw what the Satanic Buhari did with his operation python dance,I &II. He couldn't have done that anywhere else, except in SE. How can we be experiencing the worst of insecurity in the North East North Central and the middle belt of Nigeria with little or no military help but you're focus is on ipob and ESN. Fulani Jihadist militias are massacring Christians on daily basis, in Plateau, Kaduna, Nassarawa, Benue, Taraba etc, but is it ESN that is Nigerian Army problem. Such misplaced priority birthed by fear of the Igbos. @HQNigerianArmy , Una yeye dey smell, Una mumu too much!

In November 2022, while campaigning in Delta State, the then APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu, now the President, berated the other Presidential Candidate (Peter Obi), he was ashamed to call his name, saying "Na statistics we go chop all I want is to put food on the table of Nigerians”. Now 2 years into his 4-year tenure, Nigeria is classified as one of the hungriest nations in the world with millions of Nigerians not knowing where their next meal will come from. President Tinubu is now overfeeding Nigerians with wrong Statistics from wrong unemployment figures, wrong inflation figures, and now GDP rebasing, all to put a positive spin on our deteriorating economic and household conditions. Governance is not a rocket science, it's not a gamble, like I have always reiterated, it requires sincerity of purpose, character, competence, capacity and compassion. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

After watching you speak face-to-face to the president last night without mincing words or any fear of favour, I was marvelling that we still have your type in Igboland. Eze Lawrence Agubuzu, you are not just Eze but the only leader in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria who can boldly represent us without fear or favour. When others positioned themselves to be noticed, thereby telling the president lies, you distinguished yourself by saving the image of Igboland and the Igbo blood. The way the president celebrated you during your speech showed that you are the only Igbo leader who had told him the truth that others used to lie to him about the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and affair of the Igbos. They told him lies with a fake promise that Igbos belong to them and they will deliver the president before 10 AM in the morning just to attract more political favours. But, you scattered the table last night. We are very proud of you, Eze Igbo gburugburu. How I wish we had your type two in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria by now we would have been out of slavery in Nigeria. You represent the colour of Igbo man. Thank you so much, Eze Lawrence Agubuzu as we pray for God and our forefathers to keep on protecting and guiding you to continue representing us truthful. With you all of us are not conquered. Time they say waits for no one…. Subtract 10 years from your current age; that is exactly how old you were when APC came to power in 2015. It has been 10 plus wasted years with NO SINGLE growth in any sector except CORRUPTION. Here are a few of the brazen examples…

Vote Buying Must Be Stopped at the Roots Just yesterday, Nigerians hoped that the House of Representatives would finally take a decisive stand against the cancer of vote-buying. This practice has long undermined our democracy and tarnished our nation's credibility. Unfortunately, that hope was quickly extinguished. By refusing to criminalise vote buying at the foundational stage of party primaries, the House has chosen to protect a broken system rather than safeguard the nation's future. Credible elections cannot be built on corrupt foundations, and national progress cannot be achieved while inducement and bribery are legitimised in the democratic process. Any effort to stop vote buying must begin at the primaries. Without addressing the problem at its roots, any measures taken later will lack the strength to endure. A democracy where votes are bought is not a true democracy; it is a criminal marketplace. Nigeria deserves better. We must prioritise reform. The future of our democracy must not be for sale. Disturbingly, the culture of vote buying has now trickled down even to town union, village union, Clubs and associations, as well as even student elections, emulating fraudulent politicians. How long will we allow our society to be corrupted when the solution lies in addressing the roots of the problem? A New Nigeria is possible, but only if we confront these practices boldly and insist that integrity begins at the very start of our electoral process. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Here is another mass burial of christian massacred victims carried out in northern Nigeria on 19 December 2025. This is really saddening. So many christians have been mass murdered once more by terrorists and the country is silent as if this is nothing.
