I know we’re all hyped about the new Daredevil trailer but remember that Wonder Man starts today and it’s one of the best things that Marvel has made in a minute so watch that so we get more of it.

I have seen all episodes of #WonderMan and I am here to tell you that it's *great*. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley are an excellent mismatched pair, & the series is a thoughtful look at both surviving in Hollywood and personal truth. Love it. Can't wait for you to see it.

And the winner of the 2025 Best Cascadian Film goes to Blue Heron, from writer and director Sophy Romvari who makes a semi autobiographical story about immigrating to Vancouver Island in the 90’s and the pressure it had on her family. cascadiacritics.com/2025/12/…

Criterion is releasing a new 4k edition of one of my all time favourites, and a film that I firmly believe everyone should see.
NETWORK (1976) • Entering the Criterion Collection in February 2026! criterion.com/films/34869-ne… This media satire, directed by Sidney Lumet from a brilliantly incisive script by Paddy Chayefsky, is an X-ray of the corrupted soul of a corporate-dominated America, startlingly prescient in its anticipation of today’s outrage-driven news cycle.

The correct person won.
Who would’ve been your choice to win the Best Director Oscar for 2009?

I’m begging people to watch the movies they’re watching.
Amadeus is an interesting film somewhat diminished by a casting mistake; they gave the role of Mozart to a man with an unintelligent face.

Remember when the promise of digital distribution was that everything would always be available? I was there, Gandalf, 3000 years ago.
