Two simple questions were put to Circle:
1οΈβ£ Who guarantees redemptions if Circle ever shuts down?
2οΈβ£ Can holders verify USDCβs reserves on-chain?
Their answers said everything.
Circle explained that redemptions would depend on administrators or regulators, and that reserves canβt be verified on-chain. Users have to trust auditors.
