Nate Silver finally having his first introspective moment.
Bluesky honestly feels like a miracle where you take the most annoying people in the world and stick them in a broken elevator together.

A reminder to all you ICE agents and police officers… Nazis also said they were just doing their jobs. Trump won’t be there to protect you when you’re held accountable for your actions. You will receive no pardons.

New video shows close-up view of ICE agents slamming the young woman's face into the ground during arrest in neighborhood raid. "I don't have anyone at home. They arrested my mom, my sister, and a 2-month-old baby," a family member cries out.

Chris “Swampy” Garrett was a British EOD (explosive ordnance disposal) expert and humanitarian who spent over a decade clearing landmines and unexploded ordnance in Ukraine. Originally from the Isle of Man, Swampy first got involved in demining operations in Burma in 2014 before relocating to Ukraine the same year, where he became deeply embedded in the local defense and humanitarian effort. He later joined the Azov Regiment as an instructor and co-founded Prevail Together, a nonprofit focused on mine clearance, medical aid, and risk education. Following Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, Garrett worked tirelessly in some of Ukraine’s most heavily bombed areas—including Bucha, Irpin, and Izyum—saving countless lives through his meticulous work. Despite being sentenced in absentia by a Russian-controlled court to 14.5 years for “terrorism” in March 2025, he remained committed to his mission until the very end. I had the honor of meeting Swampy in Kyiv in 2024 after he came off the frontline. We sat and talked for a couple hours—not about himself, but about the incredible people he worked alongside, the volunteers, the medics, the locals. He was humble, grounded, and deeply focused on what came next: expanding EOD operations and continuing to reduce civilian casualties. His tragic death on May 6, 2025, during a demining mission near Izyum is a devastating loss—not just to Ukraine, but to the broader global community fighting for peace and safety in war-torn regions. Swampy’s legacy is one of courage, humility, and selfless service.

Musk lies all the time. Quoting him would be irresponsible.

Does feel like the @WSJ has a personal vendetta against Elon — journalism 101 to include the unequivocal denial In fact, you would put that in the headline, perhaps at the start of the sentence: “Tesla board denies report of CEO search”

i hope at my funeral, everyone wears black except one man who wears a blue suit that's one shade lighter than navy. then my eulogy begins with: "to understand why black is the color of mourning, we must go back to the Roman Empire, where a dark toga known as the toga pulla was—"

They want you to think boycotts and protests don’t work. 71% drop in income says otherwise. Keep going.

This is the most grifter comment a grifter could make.
An API by any other name is still an API. Unless you need to raise money for your AI startup, in which case I prefer MCP.

Trump had no plan for Ukraine besides handing it over to Russia, his so called peace deal is just him trying to force a surrender. Trump and all his collaborators can go fuck themselves, nobody needs them or wants them. Ukraine will defeat Russia.

“I became a “Christian” so my prison sentences for all my rapes might possibly be lower.”
It took becoming a Christian to notice that I had been worshiping false gods. MTV Awards…comedy specials….I was proud of it all. The emptiness I felt, and maybe all worshippers of celebrity feel, makes sense now.

Brian never spoke to someone manic or on coke.
I've never heard someone complain that they just feel too good.

Don't be afraid to call things by what they are. MAGA is a terrorist organization, ICE is a secret police force conducting Ethnic Cleansing, Elon Musk is an oligarch, and Trump is a foreign backed coup d'état figurehead. This is not an administration, this is a regime, and your country is occupied.

For the same reason my taxes subsidize retards like Matt. Collectivism.
I have to assume that anyone defending using food stamps to buy soda must either be on food stamps or they’re getting paid by the soda industry. Otherwise it’s a baffling point of view. Why in God’s name should taxpayers be forced to subsidize someone else’s junk food purchase? Why should someone who has cutback on junk food for budgetary and health reasons still be forced to pay so that other people can buy the junk? It’s a totally indefensible position.

People who chose to work for a neo-Nazi who’s been open about being a neo-Nazi for at least 30 years have free will. If you vandalize a Tesla you discourage others from buying these dangerous vehicles. Elon owns this situation completely.
When you scratch a Tesla, remember Elon didn't paint the car. When you burn a Tesla, remember Elon didn't assemble the car When you puncture the tire on a Tesla, remember Elon didn't put the tires on the car. Hard working Americans did.
