Pro tip for pretending to be an expert on any solar market in the world today and in 2024: nod sagely and say "of course, grid capacity is the main bottleneck to build".

The Current Solar Module Inventory Situation (there's lots) isn't *particularly* a problem for certain solar manufacturers. Oversupply and consequent price crash is a problem for all solar mfers (but great for buyers), and when the tide goes out you see who's swimming naked.

Investing the same money in utility PV instead of nuclear not only produces 5.3x the total energy but also 15.9x the peak power Also eliminates meltdown risk, weapons prolif risk, nuc waste, underground U-mining cancers, & 2-40x the CO2e emis/kWh as nuc web.stanford.edu/group/efmh/…

So, when anyone says "we need new nuclear," just reply "investing the same money instead in solar PV produces 5.3 x the energy over 65 years" That is due to the higher capital cost (15.7 x) and longer delays between planning operation (17-20 y vs 1-3 y) of nuclear
