They're just wicked and abusive and because societies abroad give kids rights to fight against that, they want their children in a place where they have no recourse.
Do people not realise that the testimonies of Nigerians abroad sending their children back to Nigeria for school so they could be disciplined is a sign of lazy, detached parenting?

Men who gloss over women solely for their academic achievements amuse me though.
Itβs good to see a woman applying herself but itβs way more important that sheβs a reasonable human being.
Iβm not saying that going to school and being a reasonable human are mutually exclusive, Iβm saying that a womanβs degrees and material worth do not matter to the extent some men gloss over it.
Any idiot can go to school, get degrees and become a Dr.
Nothing is more important in a person than their personal values.
