Excited to attend my first #SfN24! 🧠Swing by booth #1831 and we can chat about misophonia! Let me know if you think your work can be translated to #misophonia research! Looking forward to seeing everyone there! 🤩
With #Misophonia, there's no one-size-fits-all approach. It's imperative to have diverse perspectives researching the disorder. Let's chat about how your work can be applied to #MisophoniaResearch! Meet us at our booth #1831 at #SfN24. Learn more: buff.ly/3TAzGyg

Huge shoutout to @ucilibraries and @UCIAA for allowing alumni to access scientific journals and articles after graduation. As a PhD alumna, my biggest fear was losing this, and I’m so happy I can still access the science directly 🙌🏻

A few key takeaways from this study: 1) Misophonic reactions seem to be common across people, even in those who may not have misophonia at a clinical level.

3) To our surprise, self-reported general musicality does not correlate with misophonic, ASMR, or musical chills reactions. Stay tuned for our next study where we look more in depth at auditory and music perception tasks in person with kids and adults!
