Really I don't understand the hype now. I watched the trailer and it's pretty meticulous in omitting everything I like about CE. There's nothing to complain about nor is it enchanted with quirky details.
I'll tune into a stream or watch YouTube to inform an opinion later on.

People will crusade against AI art then get excited for generic entertainment products that can pass for AI output being shoved down their throats. That lack of discernment and taste is how we arrived here.

I know it’s too early to judge but this just looks so painfully generic. Like they just had a random AAA art station sci-fi game they were working on and slapped the Gundam label on it.
