ये बहुत बड़ी खबर है. फैसल खान उर्फ खान सर के ऊपर TV TODAY Group ने मानहानि का मुकदमा दर्ज कराया है. लेकिन वही सवाल, जब फैसल खान (खान सर) को बिहार की पटना पुलिस 'हत्या की कोशिश' जैसी गंभीर धाराओं में FIR दर्ज करने के बावजूद भी अब तक गिरफ्तार नहीं कर पाई है, तब इस मुकदमे से कितना बवाल हो पाएगा ? जब पूरी की पूरी बिहार सरकार ही इन फैसल खान जैसे मास्टरों के ग्रिप में है तब इन मुकदमों से उनको कितना फर्क पड़ेगा? खैर कुछ हो न हो, आगे उनका पॉडकास्ट करने वालों को मीडिया और मेहनतकश पत्रकारों को गरियाने का एक और मनमोहक वृतांत मिल जाएगा. #KhanCoachingCentre #Bihar #PatnaPolice

CBSE’s OSM or On Screen Marking is under fire. But OSM system was brought for a reason, earlier the same answer could get different marks due to regional or teacher’s bias. OSM brought a standardised system where same answers get same marks. Before OSM, in 2012, photocopies of answer sheets were made available to students & CBSE got significant complaints about totalling errors. So if OSM is bad, the earlier system was bad too, so should checking of answer sheets be stopped itself? The problem isn’t the system but how it works and Ministry of Education has directed IIT Madras and IIT Kanpur to assist CBSE to resolve portal-related issues and work on robustness of the IT infra already.

For years, evaluation mistakes existed, but students had no way to verify them. Now that answer sheets can be accessed and reviewed digitally, every error is instantly visible, giving coaching mafias a chance to instigate students CBSE has been identifying and correcting evaluation discrepancies for decades. The difference today is transparency. Out of nearly 98.66 lakh answer sheets processed this year, only around 68,000 faced scanning-related issues and about 13,000 required manual intervention That means well over 99% were handled successfully. No system involving millions of papers can be completely error-free. The real story is that technology is making the process more accountable and easier to audit than ever before. Instead of treating transparency as a failure, we should recognize it as a step toward a better evaluation system. But coaching institutes are more interested in creating panic and gaining publicity than discussing the facts.

Delhi: Sarthak Sidhant, one of the students affected by the CBSE's 'On-Screen Marking' (OSM) system, arrived at the Parliament House Annexe to give a presentation before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth, and Sports. This committee is reviewing the use of 'On-Screen Marking' (OSM) in Class 12 CBSE examinations and the consequent problems faced by students.
