Why are we still using calories as a measure for energy content in food. Joules should be the main unit used in the food industry, it’s a lot more intuitive for anyone who is familiar with SI units.

Update on tesla coil: The arc is very small, there is a faulty connection around the left heat sink (it’s not warming up at all). The one on the right is working (getting hot and dissipating the heat generated).
