12:55 - @SpaldingFire went to Cekhira Avenue, Moulton Chapel to a car fire. Severe fire damage to engine compartment of vehicle and two metres of fencing and light heat damage to window of property which they extinguished using one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera.

Two people were forced to jump from windows to escape a house fire in #Hackney.
The fire is believed to have been caused by the failure of an e-bike battery and highlights the dangers of storing these vehicles on an escape route.
