ALT Civic Engagement Day 2023. An opportunity for all Boston residents with disabilities to learn about all of the ways they can get involved with their local government. This morning I joined DESE, @BostonSchools, and others for a tour of Shaloh House’s fascinating gardening/agriculture programs, where students plant, grow, and harvest crops, and often enjoy those same fruits and veggies for lunch!
Congratulations to the newly appointed SPARK Council! 🎊
The 43-member group will spend the next year working to connect young adults to leaders in local government, City services and one another.
