THE RULES - simplified version (useful for staying calm when DOTUS & Co speak) 1) They lie. 2) They use the Shiny/Horrifying Object Tactic to distract. 3) They employ the I'm Rubber You're Glue Principle. Promote awareness. Pic ⤵ provided for easy sharing.

Hi, ER Doc here. I don’t know who needs to hear this but going outside in the cold with your hair wet does NOT cause pneumonia. Please tell your friends and grandmothers about this.

Debates? Primaries? All DOTUS did was bully people This is Leo and McConnel's fault
Replying to @jstein_star
The mere fact that we are discussing this is batshit crazy. It was never debated or brought up during the primaries, and only now are we learning how the reins have been turned over to the unvetted, unelected manic Elon and his DOGE so he can break the US gov't and go to Mars.

How was I this blind to what this was really about for so long? Why can so few people who aren't Jews see it? Why did I dismiss everyone who tried to tell me as a racist?

Look, my top issue I vote on is national security. The American people need these allegations looked at seriously. Someone compromised as DNI would be disastrous for the country.

People are breaking down on TikTok because they just realized Obamacare *is* the Affordable Care Act. The heartbreaking part? So many have pre-existing conditions. One man admitted he voted for Trump without knowing it was Obamacare that allowed his mother with stage 4

To me, the above looks much better than wearing a rough hunting tweed (casual, sport) decorated with leather elbow patches (fake, affected) with a shiny satin tie (evening, formal), a white dress shirt (formal, business), and a pair of light-washed jeans (casual).

Bonus points for bringing up Bowie 🥰

Look at the more creative dressers of the past: David Bowie in a white linen double suit with spectator shoes. Or Jimi Hendrix in a blue velvet suit with black side zip boots. These outfits are totally coherent in terms of formality, use, style, and cultural meaning.

Thinking this over, it's an interesting move. This may prevent SCOTUS from getting their grubby little hands on the case while having it ready to go as a hammer, in the future. And it's certainly not what he wants 😂😎
I'm not a lawyer but I think it's NOT FUCKING NORMAL for a prosecutor to convict you of 34 felonies and just be "jk it doesn't count, we'll just not sentence you, tee hee." Like what the fuck is this bootlicking bullshit?

Biden has his flaws but I am pretty mad at a lot of people who tried to paint this man as anti-Israel. I doubt we will see another president who in his kishkes loves Israel.
🧵New: Biden admin is lobbying Dem senators to vote against legislation being advanced by several of party’s most progressive members aimed at blocking over $20 billion in weapon shipments to Israel, two US officials told @TimesofIsrael on Tuesday. timesofisrael.com/biden-admi… (1/13)

This was written by a German woman a year ago. She was trying to warn democracies about fascist tactics. On the left is her concern (translated) and on the right is an infographic she created to teach people how "flooding the zone with shit" works. Which is where we are now.

Despite constant attempts to paint me as an anti-Zionist, I retain the same beliefs I always have: 1) Israel must remain an independent Jewish state for the safety of the Jewish people. 2) Boycotting Israel and depriving it of arms is immoral and wrong, especially when it is at war. 3) Israel has every right to defend itself against terrorism. 4) Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza. 5) Israel is not an apartheid state and treats its minorities better than any of the other countries in the region. I love my country as much as I ever have. I just want it to do better.

Next, there are some YouTube channels. My guess is that most people asking for recommendations just want basic, general advice on how to judge quality and fit. For that, I really like @JustineLeconteo channel, which is smart and accessible. youtube.com/c/justineleconte

First, there are four major writers I follow: @theprophetpizza and @RobinGivhan at The Washington Post, @VVFriedman at The New York Times, and @cathyhoryn at The Cut. IMO, their fashion criticism is always smart and worth reading. (Givhan even won a Pulitzer for her work).
