Open platforms are The Way. It makes no sense to anoint OS makers as the World App Police, censoring apps on other companies' app stores and websites at the behest of governments and media companies.

Apple has blocked the iTorrent app from being distributed via the AltStore PAL marketplace in the EU, revoking its alternative distribution rights without a clear reason. The developer and AltStore PAL have received only generic responses from Apple, which cites its Notarization process for app security. There is no evidence of a blanket ban on torrent apps, and the situation remains unresolved.
