Resting less than two minutes between sets is one of the most expensive mistakes in the gym. - You feel ready long before the muscle is. Your breathing recovers first and lies to you - That leftover fatigue blunts your fast-twitch fibres, the ones with the real growth potential - Fail to fully recruit them and you fail to fully grow - Less rest means less weight, which means less tension where it counts - Yes, this includes curls. Small muscle, same rule - Smaller muscles often need just as long to recover, sometimes longer Want to feel busy? Rest sixty seconds. The burn arrives, the growth doesn't. Want to grow? Rest three full minutes. Recovered fibres lift heavier, and heavier is what builds them.

France is so far gone down the gender hole. In these guidelines, a government agency describes a scenario in which a man pretending to be a woman goes to the doctor pretending to have premenstrual symptoms. The doctor refuses to believe him, so the imaginary troon is advised to report the doctor and get him or her sanctioned. dilcrah.gouv.fr/files/2026-0…

Why does the safety of incarcerated women not matter? Housing males in women prisons, particularly predators, perpetrators of femicide and violence against women goes against all common sense, the principles of dignity, safety and equality of women. Women i prison are entilef to those rights too! It has gone on for too long and must stop immediately!
Serial killer Harvey Marcelin has been sentenced to life in prison for murdering and dismembering a woman he met in a NYC women’s shelter. This is the third separate time that Marcelin has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a woman. He was first convicted of murder in 1963, then paroled in 1984, only to be arrested for a second femicide in 1986. He was paroled a second time, to a women’s shelter, in 2019, even though he told a parole officer upon his release that he had “a problem with women.” For the last four years, Marcelin has been housed in a women’s facility, but has recently been moved to hospital accommodations, probably as a result of age and ill health. This case should serve as a reminder that even ill, very elderly men can be dangerous to women, and that women need separate housing in shelters and other facilities. reduxx.info/transgender-seri…

When Bobby Robson finished his last chemotherapy session in 2007, Dr Ruth Plummer pulled him to one side at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. Bobby thought it was going to be about his health. Instead, Ruth wanted to talk to him about something else. Her department was too old. There was a new Early Cancer Trials Unit being planned at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care, three times bigger than what they already had, with a proper laboratory, modern equipment and room for clinical trials. But there was one problem. They did not have the money to kit it out. So Ruth asked Bobby if he knew anybody who might help. Bobby went home and spoke to his wife Elsie. The next day, they started making calls. Very quickly, what had started as a quiet conversation with Ruth had turned into a committee. Then the idea came up. Use Bobby’s name. He was not comfortable with that at first. He did not want a charity built around himself. But the others told him it would open doors, and once Bobby agreed to it, there was no going halfway. The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation was born. At the first meeting with the hospital, Don Robson got straight to the point. How much money was needed to get started? £500,000. And Ruth needed it by the summer of 2008 because she wanted the facility running by October. That was when Bobby knew what he had walked into. “There could be no slowing down, no pulling out, no getting halfway down the road and turning back.” The original plan had been simple enough. Bobby would lend his name, act as a figurehead, and stay in the background. It did not work out like that. He went to the meetings. He did the interviews. He kept going even when he was not well. Sometimes he would pull Ruth to one side and ask her: “What have you bloody well got me into?” But he never missed a single meeting. The launch was held at the Copthorne Hotel. By then, Bobby was fully in it. “If I’m committed to something, then I’m committed.” And then the money started coming in. Within seven weeks, the first target had already been reached. £560,000. Then people started turning up at Bobby and Elsie’s house. The first donation came from a woman carrying an envelope full of cash. Her husband had recently died, and his final request had been that people at his funeral gave money to Bobby’s charity instead of buying flowers. She handed over £271.74. “What can you say to that?” Then there was Johnny Bliss, a local singer with pancreatic cancer. His doctors had told him he had months to live, but he still held a concert, sold CDs and raised around £10,000 for the Foundation. Bobby met him at the Copthorne. Johnny brought his family with him, and made the men wear their best suits and ties. Bobby could see he was not well. “I could have cried.” And for all the football he had lived through, all the countries, all the clubs, all the games, this became his last big job. “It’s not about beating Portsmouth any more.” “It’s about beating death.” As of today the Sir Bobby Robson foundation has raised over £27 million. #football

I sat down with Keith, the Anglo-Nubian goat accused by several reputable organisations of single-handedly turning Britain into a desert. He agreed to the interview on the condition that it took place in Steve's vegetable patch. Me: Keith, thank you for joining me. The charge is that grazing animals like you are stripping the countryside bare. How do you respond? [Keith eats a stem of Japanese knotweed down to the root.] Me: Some are calling it a wasteland in the making. [He glances at the bank he cleared last spring, where cow parsley and red campion have since come back, then returns his gaze to me.] Me: The report was quite specific. Desertification. Soil collapse. Ecological ruin. [Keith steps through a gap in the fence that was not there this morning, into a field noticeably greener than the one he has left.] Me: Dave says the brambles are gone and the orchids are back for the first time in thirty years. [Keith says nothing. Keith is a goat.] Me: One last question. There are rumours about you and Margot, the goat three fields over. Anything you would care to share? [For the first time all afternoon, Keith stops chewing. He turns and looks west, toward the third field, and holds there for a long moment. Then, without a word, he goes back to the hedge.] I think that is a yes.

1/ There are so many barriers to participation, having a male in girls' sport should not be one of them. Early experience shapes lifelong participation. Our new report shows how girls receive the message that they don't deserve fairness and they aren't allowed to complain.

De Niro: I hate to say it, but loving our country is starting to sound like an abused spouse saying they love their abuser. I can’t love a country that starts stupid and inhumane wars, killing thousands of innocents and indirectly causing the deaths and suffering of millions more. I can’t love a country that takes healthcare away from millions of people and uses that money to enrich their pals in the Trump-Epstein class. I can’t love a country that sends out masked militias to shoot citizens in the streets, torture our neighbors, and separate families. I can’t love a country that’s led by a racist, misogynist, xenophobic tyrant. And let me just say it: I can’t love a country that’s led by Donald Trump and his sycophant Congress.

We are STILL looking for a loving home for Meelo and Chunky. Please share to help them on their way. Meelo and Chunky are both looking for a new home together. They are both male. Meelo is a Beagle aged 5 years old and Chunky is a Shihtzu aged 18 months. They are both house trained. A home with no other dogs or cats is best. They will bark at other dogs. Meelo and Chunky need to be rehomed as their owners life circumstances have changed. They travel well in the car and like to meet new people. They would suit an active couple or family who have a secure garden and can give them lots of attention and walks. Meelo and Chunky travel well in the car and walk nice on the lead. They like treats and are not fussy with what dog food they eat. For more information or to offer a new home please email info@help2rehome.com WE DONT ACCEPT PRIVATE MESSAGES OR COMMENT ENQUIRIES.

Being told I dont understand injustice....... im a grooming gang victim love, ive faced injustice every day of my life. -Sacrificed to be raped as a child to keep racial tensions at bay. -moved to different locations known to be targetted by men raping children rather than stopping the rapes -staff handling my clothes with PPE to protect themselves because of the blood and evidence of rape on them, yet never ringing police -police ordering people to stop reporting me missing while also accepting i was a victim of child sexual exploitation -Criminalised instead of my abusers -blamed for my own rapes -restrained and arrested by staff and police while being distressed over said rapes -my child taken off me at 16 and out through a forced adoption so I could continue being raped -told I wasnt worth the funding it took to save me -my case covered up over and over again, including my files deleted, untill I exposed it to the bbc -even once I finally got an investigation, it was me that had to move 7 times and lose everything I own repetedly, just so my abusers could stay out on bail while repetedly sending people to my house to silence me -my other kids being removed for 54 weeks to try and "make me take responsibility for my own abuse" and drop civil cases -being refused compensation even though they accepted my abuse breached my article 3 and 4 human rights -being refused therapy for 8 years -still targetted, called a liar and abused because I speak up about what happened and fight for all victims The list goes on even more. Dont try tell me about injustice darling. You dont know the half of it

Right, time for the Truth. The smoke and mirrors and blatant deceit going on in the asylum system is horrifying. Nothing the public is told is reliable. Hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants are unaccounted for. Home Office hasn’t got a clue where they are. Government is shovelling migrants out of asylum hotels and giving them money to find a place to stay in the community. Desperate to look like the backlog is coming down. Asylum caseworkers are granting leave to remain to known sex offenders from Eritrea, Sudan and Afghanistan because they are not allowed to refuse applicants from those “unsafe” countries. It’s a sick joke. The safety of women and children is at risk and these bullshit graphs are shared to prove how things are improving. Things are NOT improving. Asylum caseworkers know it’s a ticking timebomb. Another Belfast attack can happen any day.

🇺🇸💪🧐Howard Buffett, the son of billionaire Warren Buffett, gave Ukraine 150 million of his personal money in 2022. In 2023, he bought a total of 360 million $ for Ukraine. At his own expense, he built kitchen factories in Bucha and Lozovaya, police stations in Borodyanka and Izyum, and a dog training center in Bucha. Buffett brings combine harvesters, tractors and seeds to Ukraine and gives them to farmers for free. Buys and brings mine clearance vehicles to Ukraine: in some areas, mine clearance is the main type of agricultural work... Buffett supports the Ukrainian police, brought dozens of DNA detection machines, bought service dogs of the highest level of training in the Netherlands and brought them to Ukraine. Buffett helps search for war criminals, created a separate organization in Ukraine. He financed the creation and operation of The Superhumans Center, an open prosthetics center near Lviv. I bought and brought 2,400 high-power generators... In September 2023, Buffett and Ukrzaliznytsia created the world's first kitchen train that can operate offline for 5-7 days during blackouts and produce 70 thousand servings of food during the week. How much money does Howard Buffett have? It's hard to say, because he spends them all the time, he has already spent half a billion on Ukraine. He fell in love with Ukraine, visited ten times during the war, and it feels like he spends more time in Ukraine than at home in the United States... He's the middle child of billionaire investor Warren Buffett. It was named after Howard Buffett, his grandfather, and Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett's favorite professor. As CEO and chairman of the Howard G. Buffett Foundation (HGBF), Buffett has traveled to more than 130 countries to document the challenges of preserving biodiversity and providing sufficient resources to meet people's needs. HGBF was one of five philanthropic groups that received вор 2.9 billion in Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares from Warren Buffett in July 2020. P.S. According to Forbes magazine, as of April 2023, Warren Buffett was ranked 5th in the ranking of the richest billionaires in the world with personal assets of 106 billion. $. In addition, Warren Buffett plans to donate most of his assets to charity.

Soil is a bank account, and modern farming has quietly run it into overdraft. Plough a field and take a crop, and you make a withdrawal. The structure breaks down, the carbon escapes, and a little more topsoil washes or blows away. Do it year after year with nothing going back, and the account empties. The UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation reckons a football pitch of soil erodes somewhere on earth every five seconds, and that ninety percent of the planet's topsoil could be at risk by 2050. It takes a thousand years to build a few centimetres. We are spending it in decades. Grazing animals run the account the other way. They make deposits: - They crop the grass so the roots dig deeper and pull carbon down. - Their hooves work seed into the ground and break the crust so rain soaks in. - Their dung and urine feed the worms and the microbes. - Managed well, they build measurable topsoil, year on year. The Dust Bowl fits in one sentence. America took the bison off the plains, ploughed the grassland the herds had built over millennia, and within fifty years the soil got up and blew away. The repair walks on four legs and runs on grass. We keep choosing the overdraft, then act surprised when the balance falls.
