Working with GAF Roads, a division of GAF, 5 years ago we applied an innovative protective roadway coating to neighborhoods across LA. I’m excited to share how this emerging approach to pavement preservation has been further refined and is now a promising alternative to traditional methods and materials. (2/2) #GAFRoads_Partner

This spring, I’m teaming up with GAF Roads, a division of GAF, to raise awareness of an innovative approach to maintaining residential streets. Five years ago, in my role as Chief Sustainability Officer for StreetsLA, I led a program that installed the GAF coating in neighborhoods across Los Angeles. Since then, GAF Roads has further refined its approach and I’m excited to share the results with you. #GAFRoads_Partner #GAFRoads #PavementPreservation #PavementManagement

🌸🌸🌸 spotted in Los Angeles!
The first cherry blossoms of the season have flowered 🌸 Petite and dainty 'Okame' trees are blooming in the Japanese Garden and at the end of the Promenade. 'Okame' should be in bloom for the next week, weather-dependent.

Yeaterday I visited Beacon Hill to inspect construction progress on the Beacon Ave S and 15th Ave S Safety Project 🚴‍♂️ Freshly baked loaves on both sides of 15th create a safer and more pleasant environment for all users, and a great bike connection to the CID and Downtown
